
CLASSES
Spinning Yarns offers classes year round. We repeat our basic Pick-Your-Project Class every two months. We also run specialized workshops each month on the second Saturday of that month. Our current schedule is listed below.
Pick-Your-Own-Project Class
Get the support you need to conquer knitting in our Pick-Your-Own-Project Class. Bring something you need to finish, or start a new project that you want to challenge you. Next round starts week of July 7th.
Any level of knitter is welcome in the six-week class.
Space is limited to eight students and reserved with full payment. Cost $65.

Kids Knitting
We are introducing an ongoing class designed specifically for kids. It will be held at the shop on the last two Saturdays of every month from 10-11am. We recommend ages 7 and up, but are flexible. No knitting experience necessary.
Cost $7 for drop in, or $20 for 4 punch pass
Please call ahead (603-740-6476) to reserve your space. Drop-ins will be allowed space permitting.

Saturday Specials
We are going to have a new workshop every month on the second Saturday from 9-11am. This class is designed to introduce you to something new or help you hone your skills in a specific area.
May: Finishing Techniques
Saturday 5/11/2013, 9-11am. Cost $15
Learn some easy techniques for seaming and assembling your knitted pieces. Please bring in an unfinished garment or several swatches, a darning needle, and some yarn. This workshop is just in time for our UFO contest!
August: Intro to Magic Loop
Saturday 8/10/2013, 9-11am. Cost $20, includes pattern
Get started on knitting in the round with a magic loop needle. A 40" circular needle is required, and we recommend Addi's. We will start you on a pair of top down basic socks using this technique. Pattern included. Basic knitting skills required.
September: Intro to Short Rows, Wingspan
Saturday 9/14/2013, 9-11am. Cost $30
Master short rows with this beautiful shawlette, Wingspan. Yarn and pattern will be provided. Size 4 knitting needles are required. Must have basic knitting skills.
October: Lace
Saturday 10/12/2013, 9-11am.
November: Thrummed Mittens
Saturday 11/9/2013, 9-11am. Cost $TBD includes pattern and yarn
Your fingers will never be cold again. These mittens art knit up like basic mittens but with roving inserted every few stitches for added warmth. Basic knitting skills required.
December: Ruffly Scarf
Saturday 12/14/2013, 9-11am. Cost $20 includes pattern and yarn
Whip up one of the novelty ruffle scarves just in time for the holidays. Basic knitting skills required.
January: Intro to Fairisle
Saturday 1/11/2014, 9-11am. Cost $40 includes pattern and yarn
You will get started on a fairisle hat using two colors of Cascade 220. Basic knitting skills required.
February: Entrelac Scarf
Saturday 2/8/2014, 9-11am. Cost $50 includes pattern and yarn
We will create a lovely entrelac scarf using Mochi Plus and size 9 needles. Basic knitting skills required.
March: Intro to Magic Loop
